Happy 2nd week of Advent! This week we light the second purple candle on the Advent wreath. This candle is the love candle. It reminds us that God is love and we are made in the image of God so we too are love. During this week of Advent, we are called to reflect on how we are sharing the love of God in our lives. This love is not the romantic love, but it is kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity. How can you share the love of God this week?
Please have students wear their Mass uniform tomorrow! Pilgrimage of Mary We are very excited that tomorrow, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Legion of Mary will be bringing the Marian statue to our campus for a week. Mary makes a pilgrimage from home to home during the year and we were blessed to be asked. The students will participate in a rosary and short prayer service tomorrow to welcome Mary. Then each day the classes will visit with Mary and pray a decade of the Rosary. What a wonderful time of year to spend time in prayer with Mary!
Winter Sports We had a wonderful turnout of students who are ready to start playing sports again. Thanks to the coaches that are volunteering their time. Attached you will find the team rosters with coaches names and practice days. The coaches will email and let you know when they will begin practices and what students need to bring. We will email out the game schedules once we receive it. Let’s have a great season!

Scouting News EXCITEMENT AHEAD FOR OUR SCOUTS IN 2022!
Our Troop 355 and Pack 355 are very grateful to have emerged from the Covid quarantine to resume in-person meetings and outings. Words cannot express our gratitude for our Scoutmaster for over 30 years: Greg Deering; over one hundred Scouts earned Eagle under his guidance. Because of health issues, Greg is stepping down from Scoutmaster. While our Troop will miss Greg’s leadership, we are fortunate that Craig Trautman, an experienced Scout Leader, is our new Scoutmaster. Our Pack also has a new Cubmaster: Tyler Kollar. Tyler and Pack Committee Chair, Chuck Dowe, are both Eagle Scouts, and will build on that experience to generate fun and excitement with advancement. Craig, Tyler, Chuck and Charter Organization Representative Jim Brown, are all Catholic, and will help guide our Pack 355 and Troop 355 to meet the goals of our Diocese: to be more Catholic, stressing faith, family, and adventure. If you have boys and girls, ages 5 to 18, now is the time to join one of the greatest youth organizations: Scouting. For additional information, contact Jim Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org or TEXT to 619-248-4905.
