This Sunday the Gospel was about the Wedding at Cana. Why is this Sunday’s Gospel significant? For several reasons, the first is that it was Jesus’s first public miracle. The second is that it showed that marriage is a union between the couple and God. Third, the Gospel reading shows the beautiful relationship between Mary and Jesus. Mary has complete trust in her Son and he does what she asks, thereby modeling the fourth commandment of Honor your Father and Mother.
How can we follow Mary’s example this week?
We will not be attending Mass this Friday. Please have students wear their regular uniform.

As you know, we have 5 classes out this week. We are working to keep everyone in school. We have another new decision tree as of this morning. Please find it attached.
The tree introduced a new way to contact trace called Group Tracing for those in a school setting. This protocol notifies everyone who was a close contact. The students are allowed to remain in school as long as they do not have symptoms but they must test on day 5,6,or 7 and report any positive tests to the school. If students are unwilling to test they would be excluded from class until day 11. If at any point the student developed symptoms or became positive they would be excluded from class. We will begin using this protocol as of today. Any classes out will continue to follow the previous protocol and return on Monday, January 24th.
To ensure the safety of our staff and students please continue to keep your child home if they are experiencing any symptoms or have been a close contact outside of school.
Please send your child with a mask everyday. Please keep your child home if they show these symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
When your child returns to school please have them come through the front office to verify they are ready to return.
We are in need of child size masks. Please donate if you are able.
