Happy Catholic Schools Week! 

We are celebrating Catholic Schools Week this week.  This weekend we kicked off CSW with the Academy hosting all 3 Masses. Thank you to all the families who attended. It was so wonderful to see our students taking leadership roles.
 
We are asking classes to provide snacks. Please see items below. All individually wrapped PLEASE. There is still time to send this these items in tomorrow. 1. Granola bars 8th grade

TUESDAY:  Celebrating Your Students- Free Dress! Movie afternoon & activity with Miss Klant
Today was so much fun! We had an outdoor assembly this morning where the 8th graders serenaded us to get their mascot returned. I played Bingo with all the classes with candy prizes. The students watched a movie and had popcorn and drink and best of all they will have NO HW tonight.
WEDNESDAY: Celebrating the Nation– Free Patriotic Free Dress add accessories for $1. All money raised will go to Veterans.  

THURSDAY:  Celebrating Vocations- Guest speakers/ Thank Fr. Devdas for his vocation.

FRIDAY:  Celebrating Faculty, Staff and Volunteers- 
Thank your child’s teacher for their commitment to Catholic Education. 
We will be postponing some of the activities including Barnes and Nobel Bookfair  & Dinner Night on February 3rd and Shadow Your Student Day on February 4th. 

Opportunity Drawing We are selling Opportunity Drawing Tickets. Remember each family has an obligation to purchase or sell 2 tickets. Contact the office to purchase. 

Parents in Prayer Please join us at 7:40 to pray the rosary. All are welcome!

We are still looking for parents to help with the afternoon traffic pattern. Now is a great time to sign up and get those parent hours completed.

Lunch Table Repair Joe Carton and some volunteers worked diligently over break on the Lunch table roof repairs. There is still some work to do. We are looking for volunteers for the following Saturdays.

SCOUT SUNDAY AND SCOUTING FOR FOOD THIS WEEKEND All youth and adults who are in Scouting (including BSA and GSA) are invited to participate in the Scout Sunday celebration during the 11 am Mass on this Sunday, February 6th, as part of their Duty to God. Scouts and Scout Adult Leaders are to wear their full uniforms on that date. Meet in the vestibule (east end of the church building) no later than 10:45 am on Sunday morning. Scouts in Troop 355 and Pack 355 will also be collecting non-perishable food items from parishioners after all Masses that weekend in support of Santa Sophia’s St. Vincent de Paul Pantry. COVID Updates
If you haven’t already you can sign up to have 4 FREE at- home COVID kits sent to your home address.
Sign up at special.usps.com At home kits will be allowed as proof of a negative or positive test under the new guidance.  
To ensure the safety of our staff and students please continue to keep your child home if they are experiencing any symptoms or have been a close contact outside of school.
Please send your child with a mask everyday. Please keep your child home if they show these symptoms:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
When your child returns to school please have them come through the front office to verify they are ready to return.
We are in need of child size masks. Please donate if you are able.
