Happy Monday!This week is a short week so I wanted to get the information out early. There have also been some changes to the schedule. 

  • Friday, Feb 11th, there is no school for students.
  • Arts and Crafts club was moved to Thursday, Feb 10th. 
  • PTG meeting has been moved to Feb 15th

What a great week we had last week celebrating CSW. It was so wonderful to remember all the reasons why Catholic Schools are so important… and to have some fun too! Please check out our Facebook page for pictures.

Opportunity Drawing We are selling Opportunity Drawing Tickets. Remember each family has an obligation to purchase or sell 2 tickets. Forms were sent home with students today.


Parents in Prayer Please join us at 7:40 to pray the rosary. All are welcome!


Parent Patrol We are still looking for parents to help with the afternoon traffic pattern. Now is a great time to sign up and get those parent hours completed.


Spring Sports Signups has been extended to February 22nd. Forms are attached to this email. 


Track and Field Calling all students interested in joining Track and Field. There are metered races, shot put, javelin and the long jump. We are not sure exactly when the event will be and want to get practices started. Practices will be on Monday’s and Thursday’s. We are looking for additional coaches. Please contact the office to add your child’s name to the list. Once we know the cost we will let you know the fee. 


FACTs Family Portal If you haven’t already you may login to see your child’s grades on the FACTs Family Portal. Please click the link and follow the directions below. It will be open for parents in grades 4-8. Please follow the link to set up your login information. https://www.factsmgt.com

Lunch Table Repair Joe Carton and some volunteers worked diligently over break on the Lunch table roof repairs. There is still some work to do. We are looking for volunteers for the following Saturdays.

Cub Scouts WOW! PINEWOOD DERBY AND SNOW CAMP
Boys and girls are busy working on their cars for the Pinewood Derby – one of the most exciting events in Cub Scouts! Come watch the Derby in the De Moor room on March 1, the same evening as Santa Sophia’s Mardi Gras for families. If you want to race a car in the Derby, and you are ages 5 to 10, come join our Pack 355! This month our Scout Troop 355, for boys ages 11-17, is preparing for fun camping in the snow at Mt. HELP SAVE LIVES IN EL CAJON – 40 DAYS FOR LIFE
You can protect mothers and children by participating locally in this worldwide mobilization! Through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils and community outreach, 40 Days for Life has inspired over 1 million volunteers! COVID Updates

If you haven’t already you can sign up to have 4 FREE at- home COVID kits sent to your home address. Sign up at special.usps.com At home kits will be allowed as proof of a negative or positive test under the new guidance.  
To ensure the safety of our staff and students please continue to keep your child home if they are experiencing any symptoms or have been a close contact outside of school. Please send your child with a mask everyday. Please keep your child home if they show these symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

When your child returns to school please have them come through the front office to verify they are ready to return.
