March 1, 2022
Good evening, I apologize for sending this email so late, final decisions were being made.
We have received word from the Office for Schools that individual schools in the Diocese may use prudential judgement in the implementation of the latest guidance especially, “where enforcement may become impossible by the school.” That being said beginning tomorrow, March 2nd all members of the SSA community will no longer be required to wear masks.
Every member of the community is encouraged to decide for themselves if they wish to continue wearing masks. Parents, please make sure your child understands how you would like for them to proceed. Staff will not be enforcing masking decisions. We expect that no one will make disparaging remarks towards anyone for their masking choices.
We are looking forward to this next step of moving back toward normalcy.
If your child has any of these symptoms please keep them at home.
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
When your child returns to school please have them come through the front office to verify they are ready to return.
Thank you for your continued support!
