Adopt-A-Student
Your tax deductible contributions can be made to the Adopt-A-Student Tuition Assistance Fund enabling a student to attend Santa Sophia Academy who would otherwise be unable to have the “gift that lasts a lifetime” — quality Catholic Education here at SSA! No gift is too large or too small.
Opportunity Drawing
Every SSA Family is asked to buy or sell two $100 tickets for our Opportunity Drawing that is held in May at our annual Gala event. The Grand Prizes will total $10,000.
Scrip/Gift Card and E-Scrip Programs
SCRIP is gift cards and/or gift certificates available from many businesses. Each family is asked to purchase these from the school. The school receives a percentage from your purchases. The parent commitment is met for each family by purchasing enough scrip to meet the minimum monetary profit to the school of $200 per family. This is an approximate minimum purchase during the year of $4000-$6000 in Scrip. The program runs year around, from June to May of the following calendar year.
Should you choose to use E-Scrip to help you fulfill your scrip commitment, you are responsible for turning in a copy of your E-Scrip totals to the school in late April of each year.
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is held during our SSA Calendar year in the Spring. Our SSA Staff generously provides events and/or excursions that SSA Parents can bid on for their child(ren).
Used Uniform Sales
Students may turn in their gently used uniforms so that they may be re-sold during the Fall and throughout the year. You may drop by the school office any day and fill out an used uniform order form and our chairperson will look for your needed item(s) and get back to you. You may drop off items for used uniforms to the office any day that we are open.
Box Tops for Education
Clip those Box Tops from participating products and send them in with your student or drop them in the offertory basket during Mass. Ask your friends and family to collect box tops for you as well. Bonus box tops and special offers are available when your register at the Box Tops 4 Education website.
