My name is Barbara Braden I am so happy to join Santa Sophia Academy as the 6th Grade Teacher! I am so excited to be here!
Family: 
I like to share about myself. I was born and raised in San Diego. I even went to Santa Sophia Academy. I am one of 6 kids in my family. I loved growing up in a big family. In my free time, I like to read, paint and spend time with my family and friends. I love spending time in the mountains and love to take hikes. 
Education: 
I received my credential at San Diego State University. This is my first year teaching and I am so happy that I get to teach at Santa Sophia. 
Faith: 
I am a cradle Catholic. My parents are both Catholic and raised us up in the church. I really started to learn more about my faith in college and have continued to fall in love with the Catholic faith. I am so blessed to be able to work somewhere where I can share that faith. I have a deep devotion to our Lady and love to continue to read books that help me further understand the beauty of the Catholic Church.
